My main fancies were at Fakenham on Friday but I do think there may be one overpriced at Meydan.
Valiant Prince has won both starts since being gelded and he is a short price to make all in the mile handicap in Dubai under William Buick. He has been raised 9lbs for scoring over C&D last time, however, under William Buick and Dubai Mirage (4.55) is recommended as an each way alternative.
The selection has run two excellent races over seven and ten furlongs in recent weeks and today’s trip of a mile looks ideal. He has a good draw in stall one, berthed next door to the favourite Valiant Prince and I hope to see Pat Cosgrave track the favourite who likes to race prominently.
The 10/1 with William Hill 4 places looks fair.
