Boylesports, the self-proclaimed “most succesful independent bookmaker in Ireland” was founded in 1989 by a chap called John Boyle. Starting with bricks and mortar, they have since expanded online, mobile and telephone and, like many others, have an app in both IOS and Google app stores.

The website features a number of tools to help punters make their selection, including their Head to Head stats on football which allows you to simply see this history between two teams, live in-play data and probably the one I use most, the integration with the Racing Post giving you access to their ratings and tips etc.

As with the other big Irish bookmaker, promotions are regular and often good value. Cash back if second to the favourite in horse racing is a promotion their running for Cheltenham and with many of my fancies being outsiders historically, it’s one I’ll be keeping a look out for. Their loyalty programme, BoyleExtra, is also worth a butchers.
